Even after going up 2 sizes it was still too tight around the chest. Material seems to be made of substandard material. I just hope it will keep through a few washings.

This is a thin, soft t-shirt - great for sleeping in or just wearing casually any time. I followed advice in other comments and ordered much larger than I normally do - I typically wear a large or medium and I ordered 2XL and it was a comfortable, loose fit like a large typically would be on me.

Comments about Star Trek Vulcan Death Grip t-shirt by Junk Food:

I bought an XL for my friend because people were complaining it was a tight fit...but I now realize that those people complaining it was too small were probably the average obese American. A Large would have been perfect for my 6 foot average friend who has a very little beer belly. It doesn't look like it would shrink all that much either because of how worn it already looks, but don't quote me on that since I was giving it only as a gift. He did LOVE it though and thought it was tight (meaning cool) & bad (meaning good).I loved the print and thought it was funny which is why I had to buy it even though there were some other cheaper (pricewise) shirts that were also cool. You really should print it on a better quality T-shirt if you're going to charge [$] for it. The print is supposed to look vintage, and it looks like it was done by good screen-printers. But it's such a waste to see such a cool print on such cheap worn, thin, faded, dusty material. You got it half right.

I own 14 Junk Food tees and this "Vulcan" tee is perhaps the best one. Fits my physique to a capital T. I wish Junk Food will release this in another color, say charcoal grey or slate. 80's tees keep them comin'.

Great shirt for the Trekkie in your life. They'll love the inside joke (there is no "Vulcan Death Grip"). Highly recommended.

there is really no such thing as the vulcan death grip. this is actually from an episode where kirk and spock were trying to trick someone into thinking he killed kirk. after, spock admits there is no vulcan death grip.

Comments about Star Trek Vulcan Death Grip t-shirt by Junk Food:

The design is truly awesome and the silkscreening top-notch, but the t-shirt is godawful. I would give this product 10 stars if not for the shirt--it's too thin and the sizing is way off. I ordered a 3x shirt (I'm 6'6'') and it barely fits. If I could order another in a Hanes Beefy-T or Hanes Tagless (6.1 oz.), I would do it today! Also, it would also be nice if more colors were available (e.g., white).

Comments about Star Trek Vulcan Death Grip t-shirt by Junk Food:

Great looking shirt but I can't wear it unless I lose the 40 pounds I want to shed. I ordered a 2XL and I expected it to be super roomy. But the shirt can only be a true adult large. Same was true of another Junk-Food shirt I received in the same order. I may end up giving it away. Too bad.
