This hoodie is great to wear I get compliments on it all the time regardless of the venue, be it school the mall and occasionally the bus. The cape is a fun and easy to remove for when you don't want it in your way. The mask does not tuck back very well, but the hood is not designed with warmth in mind, so it isn't much of a problem. Overall a great hoodie LOVE it.

True, arms are too short. But it's very warm. I've already received several compliments. The eyes on the hoodie tuck above head, but not very well. Cape snaps on and off easily. Not a long cape! I wouldn't recommend ordering smaller than estimated size because I've heard it shrinks and because of the arm length. I'm 5'2 and the Adult Medium is pretty baggy on me but not excessively long. Ears don't stand up as much as I'd like but it's pretty much worth the price.

The black chest logo smudges before the first wash, the sleeves do need to be longer, and the sewing is a tad dodgy in some areas. Overall I love it, because it's Batman and it gets great reactions from people, but was expecting better quality.
The fluffy inner lining is hell on any black clothing too. Expect a lot of pilling all over your clothes.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a funny birthday present. He loved Batman as a kid. He wore it for an adult Halloween costume and received several compliments. It has been washed multiple times and we've had no problems. The snaps hold strong, the cape stays strong. The hood does shift a little when wearing but it's just for fun.

first off, this product is great! i love it and don't feel bad about the price. having said that, i'd like to add that this is based on my excitement about the novelty factor more than the quality. if this were any other sweatshirt, i'd be a little disappointed. when i first got the item, i felt that the sizes ran too large -- i should have gotten a small rather than the medium i ordered. then i decided to wash it to see if/how much it would shrink, which it did! and it shrank to what i would actually consider to be a medium size. however, there are two small problems with this.. while the chest and length fit well now, the sleeves feel just a bit short. the other issue is that because of the initial design, the sweatshirt is made with a zipper to fit the length of the sweatshirt before being shrunk. so after washing it, the length shortened up and the zipper stayed the same length causing a kind of a wiggly snake effect. basically, when zipped up, my hoodie looks like i'm smuggling something under it because it doesn't lay flat. it's sort of ripply or bubbly. my last negative comment about this product is that the silkscreens are great -- until the first wash. it looks like i've already had this thing for a year or two (at least on the chest logo). but even with all of these (what i would consider to be minor) drawbacks, i LOVE this sweatshirt! and i would probably buy one again should something happen to this one. but like i said, it's more for the novelty and the cheer it brings to people's day, not so much the quality or affordability.

I love this hoodie! I have random people asking me where I bought this all the time. It was a Christmas gift LAST year and I would say I've worn it for about six months every day (It's very cold where I work) The hoodie has held up through countless washings. The cape doesn't get in the way at all, but if you're worried it has snaps that detach with no problem. The only real complaint that I have is that the batman mask is not detachable, so if I wear the hood up the mask can get in my way (I tuck it in the hood) and make it hard to see. Not only do I highly recommend this product, I recommend buying from this site because I've used it at least 5 or 6 times and have never had a problem!

This is an amazing product. HOWEVER, I got a medium and it literally looks and fits like an XL. There were about 500 strings that needed to be trimmed or burned off. Almost all of the stitching is coming apart.

For a halloween costume that'll be worn a few times it works. For an actual hoodie it is cheap as can be and that really disappoints me.

I just want to warn any small framed girls, this hoodie is made in ADULT MEN's sizes. Usually I can get away with an XS but in this case, don't bother.

I absolutely swam in it, the bottom of the hoodie reaching my knees.

Great product! I love it! People I encounter love it also! The pockets are a little awkward, but it works for the look - and it's great that it has pockets. The only real point to make is that it did shrink quite a bit in the wash, so I would advise people who really like the more baggy fit to buy one size bigger. But other than the shrinking, it washes and dries great - no problems with fuzzballs, or with the different fabrics shrinking or fuzzing at different rates. It is really a great product.

(Also, anyone who buys this and loves it and wants to buy some of the other costume hoodies - note that they are not the same. I bought the superman costume hoody as well and the fit is very different, and it has no pockets!)

This is pretty cool in that it grabs people's attention from hundreds of feet away on campus. People do tend to rip my removable cape off, but it's totally awesome walking around with a cape and bat ears. You can't really wear the hood without the face thing. I took the cape off and one of the buttons broke. First time I did that...not too impressive. Also, I'm not a big guy (actually really athletically built) and usually wear medium or small shirts, making a large sweatshirt fit pretty comfortable over another shirt. This sweatshrt goes to mid-thigh on me. None of my other Large sweatshirts do this. I would have returned it, but the sleeves fit perfectly. Making me wonder if only overweight nerds shop here...curious.

PS I'm marking "no" on the recommendation because who would want their friend wearing this too!?

Bought this sweater and the Green Lantern one. The Batman hoodie is overall very good. It's pretty warm, very comfortable. Only gripes are that the pockets are pushed all the way back to your sides, and they're tight, so putting anything in there makes it uncomfortable to access and hold things. The Batman hoodie has cheaper material for the hoodie and cape, which is thinner and more flimsy. Overall though, still great.

I am 45 years old and my son is 19. I purchased both of us one of these bat-hoodies. Just got them the day before halloween so they may fall apart when we wash them. With that being said, If you grew up on Adam West-60's,70's Batman. Go on and order it. You will love it. We both have enjoyed them greatly and are considering getting Flash and Superman. I am a thin guy, so I ordered a size small in this. When it arrived, it looked like a tent on me. The size said small, but it looked more like a large on me. This is a great idea, and would make a cool hoodie if it was done right. The thing I noticed when I first put it on was how LONG it is. It seriously went down like half of my thigh in order to fit sort of decent on my torso. Which was odd because the arms fit perfectly fine. This length issue really took away from the coolness and everyday wearability of the hoodie, though. It is a really good idea, and if it fit properly, it would be great for everyday wear, but it is lacking in the sizing department.

I have been wearing this hoodie since I got it and have got nothing but positive comments about it. It feels great and is everything I thought it would be. The only issue I have with it are it's tiny pockets that are on the sides of the hoodie, you can't hide the ears, and the hood can't be put on without the mask.

Awesome hoodie for any Batman fan. I have an athletic build and somewhat muscular and I thought the L or XL would fit me fine but it turned out that the Medium actually fit me the best. This hoodie does run big so keep that in mind when ordering.
