I made the purchase to read the positive comments people posted it already bought.
The truth I was disappointed to receive the product. First, the price is high for a product which is a fabric material that is cheaper to buy me a business here and better quality. The fabric is fraying ...
The only good product is the design of stamping. As is the film.
The rest isn't worth it.

80sTees.com Response: It is true that the fabric is fraying. This is an authentic tenegui, made from material imported from Japan. Authentic teneguis have unfinished edges, but it doesn't matter because they are folder over so many times.

I like the product. I is so real like. The other ones I bought or so fake and unrealistic. easy to fold. I wish I knew more about the paint or the die. Other than that i like it, it makes me feel realy good in karate class. I suggest you buy it.

I purchased this for my husband for his birthday, and besides the pattern part being a dark blue color ( I always thought it was supposed to be black?), it looks like the real thing. Also, there is a little fraying on the edges, but I guess that gives it a more authentic look. Takes a couple minutes to figure out how to get it to correct wrapping size (not too wide) but it wasn't a big deal. Hubby is happy so it's awesome!

80sTees.com Response: The pattern in the movie is actually blue. Also, the fraying is because we used authentic material to make the tenegui.

It was already starting to fray on the ends right out of the pakcage. It is nice otherwise, I wish it came with instructions on how they had it folded in the movie, it was difficult to get it to match the look of daniel

I received the Karate Kid Tenegui as a gift from my older sister when I began to take martial arts classes as an adult. Growing up with the Karate Kid movie, it is impossible to ignor that the movie had a lasting impression.
When I received it in the mail, I exploded in laughter! I knew full well why the gift was chosen. Still, the quality of the product was great (well made and designed) and I was glad to have it! 20 or so years after the movie, the memory lives on in my house!

I own a couple versions of the "Karate Kid" headband and this is by far the best. This is an actual tenegui and you have to fold it a couple of times to wear it. It looks very authentic and I always get compliments when I wear it. The only slight problem is that it's black rather than dark blue but other than that, it's perfect.

Every other Karate Kid headband I've found is not a real foldable headband. This one is the real thing. The only thing that isn't quite right is the color. The design print should be a dark navy blue instead of black, but this is a small flaw compared to the positive attributes of the headband. Despite getting one detail wrong, this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone!
