This costume is great. Very well made for the price. Very comfortable! Great for costume parties, Halloween, etc... I found the wig a little funky, and a little itchy. Received huge complements. One other thing though, I had to fix the belt. The symbol was sewn on sideways, so I had to remove and replace it. All I did, was remove the stitching, and replace it with industrial strength Velcro.

Everyone is right about the size go one smaller. They need a take to know what way to put on. The wig sucks. It takes away from the costume. Either don't wear one or find a better one and ditch this one. Do what I did and go to goodwill buy some boots then red car spary paint. They looked great

I used the costume for a Hallowen party which was partly outside which highlighted the only downside. Thie costume is very light so it doesn't keep you very warm but that wouldn't keep me from wearing it again. Overall I think it is a great costume.

I used the product at a recent Halloween party. I even downloaded the theme song to play as I entered. I loved it! The problem was that the majority of the attendees were 20 somethings and had no idea who I was or anything about the show. I did discover that I talked with the one's who did a whole lot more.
The wig is great, but wear a wig cap to avoid itchiness (.99 for a two pack)
The pants were problematic. There was SO much extra crotch space, that it looked like I had eaten a little too much fruit and had a major accident. A little stiching before the party, and problem solved.
Overall I really like this costume, but I think it's a little overpriced for polyester pajamas.

Awesome costume. Pretty affordable. Good design. My only problem was the hot and itchy wig, but I sort of expected that, so not that big of a deal. And I read on some of the reviews to buy a size smaller because it was alittle big and those people are right. I got a large because I wore some clothes underneth and it was still pretty big and loose on me. So I want to stress that as well, Make Sure You Buy a Size Smaller!!
I bought this for the tons of laughs and fun factor. And used it at work. It was great. And I had everyone singing the theme song!! I totally recommand this costume for anyone!

I was really impressed with the level of quality. This costume is very comfortable and looks just like the outfit from TV. I'm still trying to figure out what to do about the shoes. I love this suit as it takes me back to my childhood... I have LOVED the thought of flying and helping the world... This suit can take me back to those days... I wear it all the time.. ESPECIALLY when watching the show on DVD...

The suit is almost perfect... But the cape should snap not tie.... It is soft and combersome.. The belt should be put on like Ralph does on the show.. It does not matter if there are boots as I am comfortable in my sneakers...

I got more of the suits to help me spice up my You Tube channel when I do videos related to that show... I hope to get a few more suits soon...

Great for '80s party. I wish the wig would've been more like the character's. The outfit was easy to wear and material didn't feel cheap. To get red boots I put on a pair of white keds sneaker and put a red knee-high stocking over the shoe. Matched great!

Great costume. I was a hit at this sci-fi party because it was recognized by those. Others wouldn't know what it is, so it is a "limited" costume to wear unless you go to a sci-fi or retro party. Otherwise, I'd put on some of the other costumes. Eventually, this costume may not hold out against the test of time unless they make a movie, which I hear is supposed to happen.

Fits pretty well, although the wig is a little itchy and hot so you have to take it off for a awhile every now and then.

I absolutely loved this product. It looked straight out of the show, although the fabric was a little thin (had I been outside I would have been freezing).
I was surprisingly a mega-hit at the party I went to (I'm 22, all my brother-in-law's friends are in their mid 30s) so everyone knew who I was except for the few 20 somethings at the party. I boast to be the only person to cause spontaneous singing at the party, and I think that this is a unique, good looking costume to stand out.

The tie on the cape was uncomfortable around my neck - it should have been a velcro connection like my wife's Wonder Woman cape to be much more comfortable. The size was also larger than expected - always buy the size smaller in this product than what you are.

Costume looks great and is definitely quality for the price. I usually wear a large & occasionally extra-large, yet for this costume I had to get the medium and considered the small. LOOK CAREFULLY AT MEASUREMENTS!

That said, the medium fits great and looks fantastic. Only complaint is the fabric belt that you have to tie in a knot in the back to attach. And you have to come up with your own socks/shoes for the outfit.

Still quite satisfied! Would order again!

Other people commented about the fit factor, but let me say it again- this costume is insanely oversized. I ordered a size small which, on my 5' 9" 150 pound frame hangs like PJs. Superheros wear tailored costumes, not Hugh Heffner's silk pajamas! I'll end up using the wig, cape, belt and the logo from this costume, but I ended up buying a spandex bodysuit to be the bulk of the costume. I'd recommend buying at least a size smaller than you normally wear- in my case, at least, it might have helped.

Playing Ralph Hinkley for a day was one of the best days of my life. I wish the suit came with an instruction manuel though." I mean I could kill the guy that designed this suit. Why couldn't it have... narrow lapels and a cutaway jacket? Why'd it have to be long johns and a cape?" The only thing is, I haven't learned to fly and landing is not as planned every time.

I'm from Australia so this was a bit of a gamble for me to by this. I ordered the costume online and they said it would arrive to my house just over a week later. And it did, just like they said it would, so for anyone who's overseas, i recommend 80's Tees.

The costume itself is a good fit. I'm 193cm tall (6ft 3") so i was unsure if it would fit but according to the size chart, i took a medium. The gamble was worth it. It's a very good fit. If anything, the shirt is a little big, but not too big. The only changes i plan to make is by using velcro on the belt so i don't have to tie it up all the time, and i'll be adding some clips to the neck of the shirt & cape so i don't have to tie them up as well. Aside from those things, i'm VERY happy with my purchase. I plan to bye more items from 80's Tees in the future...

Overall, this is a fantastic outfit! The perfect Halloween costume! Like others were saying, anyone under 30 would have no idea who this was, including my wife. My 6 year old loves to watch the show with me though! He wanted to be this for halloween, but I told him they didn't make kids sizes. LOL! Only bad thing is the cheap stitching that falls apart pretty easy.

I like the suit however the weird stitching on the crotch has me perplexed. It's kind of flat which doesn't make sense and scrunches up to look like I have a male 'front bottom'. Not pretty.
Also, although I bought medium it's kind of baggy in areas and should be a bit tighter...would prefer if it was made from lycra.

Overall, I would recommend the suit to fans as it's fun to wear and looks pretty realistic.

Man this outfit is awesome! It is so awesome that I might wear it every year. The costume is easy to put on, not real thin, the cape is long, it is just awesome! I had a really unique outfit and only 2 people recognized it and loved it.

As mentioned before, it would be nice if the cape snapped on rather than tying around your neck. With the cape weight on your back, it can pull against your neck and that gets annoying.

I loved the show as a kid from 81-83. I still love it and this is the coolest outfit ever.

I tossed this costume in a drawer after it arrived. Frankly, I'm a big guy and the medium was like wearing a tent. If you buy this, do it TWO sizes too small. I really enjoyed this product and being a child of the 80's it was a perfect costume for me. It did run a little big, based on my measurments I was recommended an XL and was swimming in it(better big than small though). Also it was not in stock until a few days before Halloween(Oct. 26th I believe) so I had to keep an eye on it. Overall good experience and great costume.

I loved the costume and so did others that the parties I attended.
The only complaint was that the pant's pattern was entirely wrong. There is a diamond shape sewn into the crotch area and it made the pants look like something MC Hammer would purchase. I cut it out and the pants fit perfectly!!!!
I also took in the sides of the shirt to get a more fitted, super hero look as well.

The overall look is great and people loved it!

Perfect for karaoke when they've got the theme song! Easy to wear, good length (80stees.com's measurement page was spot on, thanks so much for that), and fit over my street clothes with some mild effort.

My complaints were two in number:

The wig is a *little* silly, or just not silly enough. Longer curls or shorter, tighter curls.

Also, this outfit needs a sock or slipper to properly outfit this. I spent a lot of money and time looking for the right foot accessory. Even a thick sock with a black rubber sole, adding $10 to the price, would have been a time and money saver.

Both those comments aside, this costume was worth the purchase and definitely got me noticed this Halloween. Outstanding!

So much fun to wear for Halloween. Most people won't get it, but those that do will be very impressed.
The symbol on the belt was a little crooked, and overall the belt could be slightly better designed, but overall - great costume.

You need to get all red sneakers to really make it work.

The costume is great, and very ridiculous looking, which is the whole point, (even Ralph himself, though it looked goofy.) i was nervous about the wig looking too cheesey, but it actually looks pretty realistic. And the cape is shaped circular just like on the show.

The only downside, to having this, is that only people familiar with the show will recognise and enjoy the costume. So you'll probably have a hard time entering Costume Contests.

Also the belt, is kinda weird, it is fabric for which you have to tie it behind your back, but judging by the pictures i thought it would be foam with velcro ends, so i was kind of disapointed with that.

Other than that, the costume is well made and screen accurate, and very fun to wear.

The costume was perfect except the stitching was poorly done with weak thread. The cuffs came unraveled within an hour.

I have an old verson of this suit and I have worn it to a few halloween parties.. I like to wear it because it's fun.. But there are some things that I would change with the cape.. I wuld have loved to have one that snaps.. When you tie it around your neck, it just doesn't look right... I would love to see it longer... i love wearing long capes and I feel that the one with the costume is a tad too short... I would like to see one longer a cape seems to look better longer especially when it's windy...Otherwise a real nice tribute to a great show....
