I bought this shirt for my father-in-law's birthday because he LOVES The Big Lebowski. I was a little weary of the price for the product because online it looks a little cheaply made with bad fabric.

This seems to be a high-quality item. The material is thick enough to not be flimsy, though I'm not sure what it actually is, and didn't find it on the tag. It's a little stiff, but I haven't washed it yet.

Main problem I had was that I couldn't bowl in it. It was very tight across the back of the shoulders and impeded my natural movement.

Bottom line; wear to the viewing part of Lebowski-Fest, not the bowling part.

I am a straight up 2X guy...so I got the 2X. It was way too tight in the shoulders and stomach. So then I ordered the 3X...Yikes! It's OK in the stomach, but it has ridiculously long sleeves and one of the biggest collars I have ever seen. It was made in China, and since I live here I can say that these are common mistakes made by tailors here if you do not provide a good design. I think this site needs to find a new manufacturer and give them very detailed USA measurements to use.

All of the comments regarding the sizing of this shirt almost made me pass, but I decided to pull the trigger anyways, and I couldn't be happier. This shirt just amazing. This is pretty close to the Dude's actual shirt, but the material is different. This is plain cotton, and dull compared to an actual shiny bowling shirt. I was a little disappointed in the quality, but it makes for a close enough haloween costume.

I ordered a 4XL and where I usually wear a 3X I thought I'd be safe and get the 4. Well this shirt didn't come CLOSE to fitting. If you're a fat guy, don't buy this. It will not fit!

A previous reviewer said the shirt ran small. Normally, I'm an XL, and I wanted the thing to run BIG, 'cause bowling shirts are supposed to be super roomy. I ordered a 3XL--and the thing's TIGHT on me. I am not happy.

Glad that everyone warned about needing to order a few sizes bigger. Well, I played it safe and ordered the 5x, since I'm 6'1" and 200 lbs. Turns out the 5x was too big. I think a 3x would have worked. I guess I'll just really have to shrink the hell out of it in the wash.

Awesome shirt. Should come with a rug to tie the room together.

I was warned but did not heed the sizing note. I figured that when I wear a large that 2x would be enough. My fault but seriously, order this at least 4 times bigger than you normally wear. Dumb mistake on my part but they should not make shirts that are smaller than the normal sizing standards.
