In the real film, they were apollos so they wouldn't say balboa, or rocky. they are incorrect and not realistic because of that error. rocky never sewed his name on the shorts, they were apollos.

Really loved the product. Was only afraid of it wearing out after washing as it says hand wash only. Also the waist band seems to be loose in the stitching. Overall great piece and great as a Costume.

Perfect 'boxer' shorts. I'm a 30-32 and large is definetly a better fit. They are fantastic, 80stees is my favourite shop, and a must for any Rocky fan!

Wore these to an 80's party as Rocky and my buddy wore the Ivan Drago gear from Rocky 4. It was a huge hit. I am a 36/38 waist and they were a little snug, but definitely wearable for one evening to a costume party. Seemed to fit better after a few cocktails.

I've always wanted these shorts since I saw the movie back in 1985. But there were no hope in flyers or online stores til 80 tees. I perfer to wear these shorts for sleep wear on those hot summer nights. Though the BALBOA name peels off after you wash/dry them. But thats not a problem cause thats the way it should look like it did in the movie.

These shorts were awesome. I actually went as Apollo Creed to a costume party, so the Rocky was the only downside. A quick touch up with a blue magic ,arker remedied that.
